Looking Good W.E.H

With Spring on its way students and staff are working hard to beautify our school yard. We have begun our Adopt-A-Garden program, where each class signs up to care for one of our gardens. Thanks to Kamstra Landscaping for donating two trailer loads of topsoil to improve our back gardens!

We are also looking for any donations of shrubs or perennials that you may be splitting when cleaning up your own gardens at home. Please let your child's teacher know if you can help!

QMack and J-Box were Truly Amazing!!

What an amazing message Quincy Mack and J-Box brought to our school on April 11th, 2012. This spectacular 90 minute presentation for our JK-8 students brought a very stong message of bullying and how to deal with it while performing dazzling basketball tricks.  He has worked closely with NBA MVP's LeBron James, Steve Nash and Shaquille O'Neal.  Also joining him, beat boxer, J-Box, who is known as the "Human-I'Pod".   He will be appearing on "Canada's Got Talent" as he is one of the 8 finalist!!!  Go J-Box, Walter E. Harris will be cheering for you!  QMack and J-Box  drove home the importance of "never giving up" and "increase the peace".
